Earthly Energy

Hiking in Yellowstone, through the geothermal calderas, is a unique experience. If not for the clearly marked trails and warning signs everywhere, passing through these woods would be quite dangerous and most likely life threatening.
The Earth gives us a glimpse into the raw power that exists below our feet. Pools of bubbling mud, steam rising through cracks in the crust, and calcified trees make up the other worldly landscape.
You can feel the energy, the natural vibration that occurs. It’s somewhat difficult to ponder the immense gravity of the destructive power below your feet, juxtaposed with the wonderous beauty that shrouds it. The experience is sublime.
