Perry Brown: Expressions in Color

Please join us for the opening reception and to meet Perry on September 14th from 4-7 at the Gallery in Breckenridge.

Artwork is subject to pre-sale. Works purchased are available for delivery after the show ends. We invite you to preview Perry's work on his profile page.

There's a presence of humanity in most of all Perry Brown's subjects; maybe capturing a small angler in a vast mountain scene, dotting a landscape with rural structures or recording life in the busy city. Perry's training in design and in the apparel industry has left a mark on his thought processes for making fine art, where he has learned to embrace change and not always rely on safe methods of applying paint. There is a tension of realism vs. abstract that permeates throughout his subjects and his goal is to keep providing a fresh and energetic discipline in his paintings.
